Brighton 3 Brother Rice 0

This has become a great rivalry between two perennial powers.

Brighton would visit the Warriors this year and be greated by the new field that has been constructed for the Warriors soccer program.

The half was back and forth, with the Warriors getting some very good socring chances while the Bulldogs seemed to be playing in quicksand.

Aaron Kammann made some tough saves to ensure a 0-0 halftime score.

The halftime chat by Deepak apparently hit a chord as the Bulldogs came out like the team they played against in the first half. They were more aggressive and because of the small stature of the field adjusted their strategy to take better use of the overall team speed.

John Palmer (JP Money) took the ball around the right side of the defense and was closing in on a shot attempt at point blank range when he was taken down hard in the penalty area resulting in a penalty kick. Kenny Simon was tagged for the attempt and coverted to give the Dogs a lead about half way through the second half.

At this time was when the Bulldogs began increasing the tempo and pressure of the game. Brad Murphy (Da Sheesa), attacked the same right side and drew the keeper out of the net. He calmly chipped a pass over to Kevin Simon who put in in the net.

Aaron Kamman was part of a second consecutive Bulldog shutout.
